G&G Island Detailing collects contact details, vehicle details, quote requests, job history, and service communications to respond to customers and provide detailing services.

What we collect

When a customer asks for a quote or books service, G&G Island Detailing may collect a name, phone number, email address, service area, vehicle or RV details, preferred service type, message details, and the date the request was submitted. Job records may also include service notes, appointment details, payment status, and communication history needed to manage the work.

How we use it

Customer information is used to answer quote requests, prepare service recommendations, schedule detailing work, keep a practical job history, and send service-related communications. The public website does not add analytics, tracking pixels, remote fonts, or third-party advertising scripts.

Marketing messages

Marketing email is handled only through a managed email tool and requires consent under Canadian anti-spam rules. Every marketing message must identify the business and include a working unsubscribe. Service confirmations, receipts, scheduling messages, and direct replies to quote requests are transactional communications.

Photos and job history

Vehicle photos may be kept with job records so staff can review before-and-after work, service history, and customer approvals. Photos intended for public gallery use are treated separately from staff-only job records and should only be published when approved for public use.

Storage and access

Client and job records belong in staff-only systems. Access is limited to the people who need the information to operate the detailing business, respond to customers, and maintain the service history. Secrets, raw exports, and private source material do not belong in the public website repository.

Customer access and deletion

Customers may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting G&G Island Detailing. Some transactional records may need to be retained where they are required for ordinary business, accounting, warranty, or legal reasons.
